NITI strives for excellence and quality in every aspect of its operation. The Institute is proud to have internationally accredited by ACCET as well as being a recipient of national and international Awards.
With quality at the core of its operating principle, NITI established a QA division with the specific purpose of overseeing all aspects of its operations. At a very early stage in its development, NITI’s QA division developed its own internal manual of quality assurance systems based on, and guided by, internationally accepted Total Quality Management (TQM) principles, Six Sigma DMAIC and Kirkpatrick Training Evaluation Models. In implementing the principles and spirit of these models, NITI’s QA conducts robust and systematic internal and external reviews. These review checks include:
In formulating actions plans and introducing improved changes, NITI QA uses a number of data gathering tools. Online surveys and questionnaires from all participants and stakeholders are key components in our improvement process. Internally, data collection includes but not limited to the following methods: document reviews, observations, inspections, interviews and focus groups.
At the same time, NITI’s QA division spearheads efforts to obtain national and international accreditations and quality awards. So far NITI is proud to have received the following quality stamps:
NITI won an award for the Best Education Partnership during the annual Getenergy gathering held in London on May 8, 2017 to celebrate excellence in education and training for the oil and gas industry across several categories. Getenergy is the Global Education and Training marketplace for the Oil and Gas Industry and runs events that bring together providers of education and training (Universities, Colleges and private Training providers) with national and international upstream oil and gas companies, governments and service providers.
NITI wasdeclared a bronze medal winner of the prestigious King Abdulaziz Quality Award (KAQA) in the category of not-for-profit organizations in October 2018. KAQA is The National Quality Award of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is similar to its counterparts in other countries at both the regional and international levels, and seeks to establish a common, criteria-based model for organizational excellence. The Award recognizes the best organizations in terms of excellent performance and the highest quality standards at national and international levels.
NITI has been accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET) as of December 2017. ACCET is a US based non-profit organization founded for the purpose of improving continuing education and training. It has been officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education since 1978 as a “reliable authority” as to the quality of education and training provided by accredited institutions. NITI takes pride in this stamp of quality that proves that it provides its training according to international training standards.
NITI received a Qualification Endorsement Certificate from the Awarding Body Department of the Colleges of Excellence’s (COE) endorsing its five major apprenticeship training programs. This certificate confirms that NITI and the Qualifications were compliant with the COE Endorsed Quality Objectives.
